The tell

A specific three-mineral combination: salmon-pink feldspar, pistachio-green epidote, and clear or grey quartz. If the green is missing it is just granite.

Unakite is granite that hot water got into and altered. The green is epidote replacing what used to be a dark mineral.

The facts

Put it on the shelf

Every stone on this chart is drawn and kiss-cut at three inches. The rarer the stone, the fewer exist: only 750 unakite will ever be printed, then the run is retired.
