The tell

Look for the frosting, a fine sugary surface covered in tiny C-shaped chips, and for any curve, seam or lettering left from the bottle. Glass is also lighter in the hand than quartz.

Blue and red are the rare colours. Brown, green and white are beer, wine and everything else.

Every stone on this chart is drawn and kiss-cut at three inches. The rarer the stone, the fewer exist: only 750 sea glass will ever be printed, then the run is retired.
