Great Lakes stones and slag, from verified rock shops or individuals, all in one place. This is a window, not a store: an aggregator of everyone's hard work to make shopping rocks easy. Every seller here is someone I've checked myself. They sell it, you buy from them direct, and I take nothing from the sale.
Nothing matches that yet.
Loosen a filter, or tell a seller what you're after. New listings go up as sellers post them.
Search, or filter by seller, by stone, by what it is (rough, polished, slabs, jewelry, by the pound, supplies) and by price.
Every listing opens with a button to the seller's own page, their Facebook, or a text. You and the seller work out payment and pickup or shipping, the way you already do on Marketplace.
There's no cart on this page on purpose. The seller keeps every dollar. If someone asks you to pay some way that feels off, tell me and I'll look into it.
A badge on this page means I've looked at the seller myself. A rock shop with a door, or one person with a table at the shows and a Marketplace page people actually buy from. Not an algorithm, not a form that auto approves.
Sellers sell on their own pages. I keep the list honest, that's the whole job.

Verified Seller
This badge sits on every card a verified seller posts, and on their card in the rail. If it isn't there, the listing isn't on this page.
This is a window, not a store. Your rocks show up here, a buyer taps one, and the button takes them straight to you: your own store page, your Facebook, or a text to your phone. They pay you the way they already pay you. Nothing sells on this site, no money moves through it, and I take nothing.
Send me your store address once. Your whole catalogue shows up here within the hour and stays in sync every hour after that. Sold out on your site, gone here. New on your site, here by the top of the hour. Every card says "Buy from your shop" and opens your product page.
A photo and a price, about a minute a rock. You get a link by text that signs you in. The buyer's button becomes "Message on Facebook" or "Text the seller", and you can add a Venmo or PayPal link so they can pay you right from the card.
Takes two minutes. I look at every one myself and text you back, usually the same day.
Sign in with your seller code to post, edit and mark things sold. It takes a minute per stone.
Post your listingsPay how you would on Marketplace. Their own store page, their Venmo or PayPal, or cash at pickup. This page never asks you for a card.
Ask for a photo in daylight if the listing shot is under a lamp. Good sellers send one without blinking.
Something off? Text me at 815-768-5358 with the seller's name. I read every one and I'll pull a badge if I have to.
No money changes hands on this site. These buttons take you to the seller and you pay them directly. Skip the Rock takes nothing.
Skip’s the name.
Skip the rock like you’re a kid again.
Or skip the rock and leave it for the next rockhound.
